Instructions
Begin by gathering your ingredients so that you have everything close at hand on the counter or table.
Using preferred popcorn maker, pop 4 quarts of popcorn. (This is approximately 1 cup of uncooked kernels.)
Place cooked popcorn in a large paper grocery sack along with the roasted peanuts.
In a large microwavable bowl, combine the brown sugar, butter, peanut butter, corn syrup, salt, and baking soda.
Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir to combine. Microwave again on high until it reaches a full, rolling boil (approximately 1 1/2 - 2 minutes).
Stir in vanilla extract and butter flavoring.
Slowly pour the sugar mixture over popcorn. Using a long-handled wooden spoon, mix to coat well.
Fold the bag down and place in microwave. Cook on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Do this three times shaking bag vigorously between each heating.
Spread the popcorn out onto two baking sheets.
Sprinkle with candy corn and peanut butter candies. Allow the popcorn to cool and harden before serving. This makes nearly 20 cups.
