Here's a delicious recipe to serve guests when you want a little something special. I love how the warm brie oozes once you slice into this yummy goodness.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Gather the ingredients so you have everything close at hand on the counter or table.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mat.
Assemble the Appetizer
Unwrap 1 package refrigerator crescent rolls from container. Roll out onto the lined baking sheet. If the crescent rolls are precut, press together to seal the edges.
To flavor the dough, sprinkle 1 teaspoon garlic powderand 1 teaspoon dried parsley over the dough. (If you can find garlic-flavored refrigerator crescent rolls, all the better.)
Place the unwrapped 8 oz. brie in the center of the crescent pastry.
Top the brie with 1/4 cup apricot preserves and 1/4 cup sliced almonds.
For easier wrapping, score the dough in sections as shown above, by dividing it into fourths.
Prepare To Bake The Brie
Beginning with one side, wrap the crescent dough up and over the brie, until all sides are covered. Pinch and twist the dough at the top into a knot of sorts to seal.
Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
