- large egg
- half and half cream
- bread crumbs
- all-purpose flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- medium green tomato
- extra virgin olive oil
Instructions for this Recipe
In a medium bowl, beat the egg and cream together.
In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs, flour, and salt, and pepper as desired.
On a cutting board, slice tomato to 1/4 inch thick slices. Dip slices in egg mixture and then in breadcrumb mixture.
Place in hot skillet with oil. Cook on each side about 1 minute per side until brown. Place on paper towel. Serves 2-4
