Christmas Wassail with Pomegranate Juice is a delicious mulled drink to enjoy during the holiday season. Sweetened with pomegranate, apple, and pineapple juice and flavored with cinnamon sticks, it’s good served hot or over ice.

Once it has mulled for the desired time, you may keep it warm in a slow cooker or simmer in a carafe over a low fire.

Fresh Pomegranates

Pomegranate juice used to be hard to find, but is now readily available at Walmart or your local grocery store. I like to buy 100% pomegranate juice, but you might try a combination of cranberry-pomegranate or blueberry-pomegranate juice.

I’ve given the option to add as little or as much water to the drink as desired, up to a quart. This will help if you are serving a large crowd and need it to go a bit farther. Or you may simply desire a lighter drink that is not as strong. In the end, it’s all good.

Christmas Wassail is the perfect beverage to serve when you’re looking for a non-alcoholic drink for your guests. It’s also nice for a holiday brunch or tea party.

Irish Coffee Mugs for Mulled Drinks

This drink is especially pretty served in glass mugs, such as Princess House Fantasia mugs, or in Irish coffee mugs.
